Preparing Your Home
Preparing your home is one of the most important things to consider if you want top dollar. Buyers are looking for the WOW and I know just how to help you deliver it. In all of my experience, I have been able to compile a checklist of some of those repairs and finishes that make your home desirable and look it's best!
Let’s get started!
Fix up that loose fencing, clean the roof, and repair the deck. If your home needs a fresh coat of paint, do it. It’s amazing what a few cans of paint will do for curb appeal. And don’t underestimate the landscaping. Mow the grass, prune overgrown bushes and trees and remove all debris; you’ll have the outside looking like brand new in no time.
Clutter is one of those eyesores that turn buyers away almost instantly. Start packing early and get rid of all the extras. Making your home feel spacious is a great sales point. Repair grout on all countertops and showers and repair any damage on the walls. Once that is finished, time to get out the paint again for that clean crisp feel.
Plant some extra flowers, Add cut flowers inside, Make sure windows are clean and sparkly, pack your personal photos- buyers want to be able to picture themselves in their potential new home.
